Brighter Than Creation’s Dark

Today, 1/22/08, marks the release of the new Drive By Truckers album, “Brighter Than Creation’s Dark”. I bought it on iTunes this morning as soon as I woke up. I’ve listened through the first 7 songs, and I’ll tell you it’s as good as anything since “Decoration Day” or “The Dirty South”. But then again, I’ve always been a sucker for the southern rock.

Now I’ve gotta get ready for a dentist appointment, and then go to work. At least this day will have one bright point….
